At Ten Mile Lake Family Lodge, you may be lucky to witness a pair of bald eagles soaring overhead, stunning sunsets on one of Minnesota’s pristine fishing lakes, or the mist rising over the lake as the loon's greet you in the morning.

If you book a stay at this hand-hewn full log home, you'll marvel at the massive beams that hold up the entire home. Each log was chosen from our local Native American tribe and scored and put together with the utmost care so that each log has its best face forward.

You'll enjoy the huge fire pit, a private beach, and boat dock. The wide full-length deck is equipped with a BBQ and party tables for your group and plenty of lounge chairs for enjoying your vacation. The home has 2 bedrooms (for 5 guests) and a giant loft with beds for 9 more. It is perfect for a large family or best family friends, and extended family reunions at the lake.

We are tucked in the woods on the lake just past the big farmers field where the wild turkeys and deer live. If you are an early riser, you may find yourself at the edge of the field enjoying the morning light with our local family of deer or a cup of coffee on the deck watching the morning fog rise from the lake as the loon calls echo over the water.

Don’t forget your bikes and roller blades! Vacationers enjoy walking, biking or rollerblading along the smooth blacktop road that circles the lake, only a short walk from the lodge. In addition, just a few miles south is an entry point for 123 miles of multi-use trails, part of the Paul Bunyan trail system, for biking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and hiking.
